Heather McFadden has been a prominent singer throughout California for over a decade. Appearing with companies that include Opera San Jose, Berkeley Opera, Golden Gate Opera, Northbay Opera, Martinez Opera, Pacific Repertory Opera, Pocket Opera, Townsend Opera, Open Opera, Oakland Opera Theatre and Diablo Light Opera, she has performed a range of roles from Buttercup and Prince Orlofsky to Carmen and Ulrica. She has worked with Opera San Jose as a guest artist for 5 years in operas that included Traviata, Barbieri, Romeo and Juliet, Zauberflote, Eugene Onegin and performed the role of Agafia in the West Coast Premiere of Anna Karenina. Upcoming is the role of Cayetana, the matriarch in a new opera Rio de Mujeras with Opera Cultura.
Heather also appears in concerts with Ensemble Vocalise in Las Vegas and the Bay Area and sung as the alto soloist for the Messiah with Townsend Opera. She is a frequent soloist for concerts for Open Opera.
